Online Directory
The Association of Wisconsin Lobbyists publishes an online directory of its members. The directory is available for the legislature and state agencies and the public. The benefit of the directory is ease of use and access to members email address and contact information.
Website
Located on the website is a calendar of events and activities for members to be made aware of and participate in. In addition, fundraiser notifications are posted.
Professional Development Meetings
Professional Development Meetings are designated seminars to report on industry trends or legal issues. This gives members a current look at what is going on in specified industries. AWL feels that it is important for members to keep current and up to date with the larger picture of current events.
Business Meetings
Business Meetings in contrast to the Professional Development Meetings, are designed to keep members current on legislative topics. Speakers report to members on what is going on in the legislature. Industry professionals discuss topics related to lobbyists and Wisconsin laws.
Campaign Seminar
The Campaign Seminar is held biennially and features in-depth reviews of all candidates and their platforms. Each house discusses political strategy. Industry leaders highlight congressional races and federal issues that affect Wisconsin and its laws.
Networking Opportunities
The main benefit of becoming an AWL member is the rapid expansion of your professional network. You will have the opportunity to share and grow your acquaintance base with other Wisconsin Lobbyists and members of the legislature.
